Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and he left two weeks ago saying he needed some time apart. He says he falls in and out of love with me and i don't understand how a person can go from deeply in love and living together to moving out and saying he don't know if he still loves me in the next secondHow can someone fall outta love with you?
Feelings ebb and flow, which is natural, but to describe yourself as falling in and out of love is excessive. He may mean that his attention comes and goes, which is how it goes with many people. Its not that a person really falls out of love, but that they focus on other things they have going on.
Love is great, but if that is all that you have going for you, then you have an unbalanced life.
