How do I fall out of love with someone?

I fell in love with this person without realizing and being the optimistic person that I am believed in a deeper relationship. Reality is slowly kicking in and I don't believe this person feels the same about me as I do him. Matter of fact I think he's the type that has beautiful girls chase him constantly. Point is my heart is breaking and I don't know how to speed up the pain I am going through so it can be over and I can go on with my life. How do I stop loving someone who I fell in love with against my choice?? Please, please advise.How do I fall out of love with someone?
you cant... it takes as long as it takes and it will hurt.. purely because YOU were true.. you loved... you can't just switch off... and its all well and good saying ';be busy';.. but thoughts race when the body is weak...How do I fall out of love with someone?

sorry there's no quick fix ... but many are in the same boat, myself included, though i've no intention of stopping loving my soulmate. it does hurt like hell to not be with that someone .. but love has a power, a mighty strength that you just can't control.
